The goal of this course is to introduce what Good Laboratory Practices are, and why they are important. It will look at the history of GLPs, why they were first implemented, how they are enforced today, and what they mean for the laboratory. Topics include: What is GLP?, The History of GLP, GLP vs. GMP, GLP Principles, the 5 basic rules of GLP, and why we need GLP. The course takes about 20 minutes to complete and includes 2 (non-graded) assessment questions to help the learner gage their understanding of the content. The course is compiled into SCORM 1.2. Course completion is tracked upon a trigger from clicking "Exit" on the last page and sends a "Completed/Incomplete" course status to the LMS. Note: This course pairs nicely with: What is GxP?, What is GMP? and what is GDP or the "GXP Bundle" Course.
